Defining and maintaining a look is just as important as making it move. We pride ourselves on burning midnight oil when exploring the right direction. We'll jump on any opportunity to make something pretty, making sure it adds, rather than takes away from the brief.

Sound is something dear to us *hugs*. We learnt a long time ago how important it is to appreciate crafted audio. So, we spend a substantial amount of time on Foley and Music. Because few things help a visual more than the right set of sounds.

We like having something to animate, so we tend to illustrate what it is we are trying to showcase. Seems to make sense to us. Whether 2D based or something built in 3D space, illustration is a chance to buy good steel. And yes, that was a metaphor.

2D Animation.

Cool, back with another vague term. The best way to categorise 2D is to remove 3D and Live Action from the equation and see where you end up. 2D Animation is a cornerstone at Okalpha. Luckily we are pretty good at it.

3D space pours a bucket full of techniques and tools into the equation. Be it asset creation, system builds, or rigged animation, we are obsessed with working in 3D space. When used right, it’s our most powerful tool. That and our third world rates.

We noticed that apps seem to be quite a big deal. We’re not 100% sure, but it seems to be taking off? As a result, we do a ton of UI work. Slick, simple, and smart, we appreciate the approach of function meeting form. It's also a chance for us to test eases. Win-win.

Product Rendering.

Having a heavy photographic background means product rendering and imagery is a mild obsession of ours. With photo-realism being fairly easy to achieve in 3D space, we have the freedom to work on a limitless stage. So, no studio and no cable management.
